He was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters. He enjoyed hosting large neighborhood picnics, square dancing and playing pinochle and was passionate about working with his draft horses. He was an avid hunter with many interests including coon hunting with his dogs, trapping, fishing, camping, and traveling. Until his retirement in 2006, he and his wife, Dorothy Zeborowski Sturm, whom he married on February 16, 1952, were hard working dairy farmers of an award-winning herd. After Philip's schooling in Edinboro, he began a fifty-year career operating the Sturm Family Dairy Farm. Phil was born in Cherry Valley, Ohio on June 23, 1932, the son of the late William Philip Sturm and Kate Ella Centers Sturm. Sturm, 90, of Meadville passed away at his residence on Sunday, February 19, 2023.
